Job summary

Larouche Raymond Headhunters seeks a hands-on Azure Software Architect to define production-grade AI platforms. This fully remote role in the United States requires deep Azure expertise, leadership, and a track record with LLM/agentic systems.

You will mentor teams, set technical direction, and optimize cost, latency, and reliability for large-scale AI workloads. Responsibilities include end-to-end architecture, Azure OpenAI & AI Foundry design, guardrails, and secure, observable delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering and architecture with hands-on cloud delivery.
• Deep Azure platform expertise across compute, networking, data, identity and AI services.
• Proven production experience with LLM or agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for Azure-hosted AI platforms and agent orchestration.
• Lead design around Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, RAG, and vector search.
• Define standards for prompt orchestration, tool calling, memory, and guardrails.
• Architect scalable microservices using AKS, Functions, API Management, event-driven messaging.
• Ensure security, observability, governance, and cost-reliability trade-offs.
• Mentor engineers and translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
