Job summary

Cognizant Consulting seeks a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions. You will own architectural outcomes, drive migration, modernization, and platform transformation for Fortune 500 clients.

In this remote US-based role, you will work with AWS architects, delivery leadership, and client teams, applying CDK/TypeScript, DevSecOps, and cloud-native patterns to build secure, scalable solutions and transfer knowledge through structured

Qualifications

15+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on AWS.
Strong hands-on AWS CDK and TypeScript expertise, including authoring L2/L3 constructs and cross-account deployments.
Proven experience delivering enterprise cloud migration and application modernization with container tech (Docker, ECS/Fargate, EKS).
Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering experience, including pipelines with GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI and cloud-security guardrails.
Demonstrated consulting and client-facing delivery experience with architecture leadership and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with Well‑Architected principles.
Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives to AWS.
Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities with automated gates and policies.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client teams through workshops and reviews.
