Job summary
Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise-scale AWS cloud solutions that enable complex migration, modernization, and platform transformation.
You will work with AWS architects, Cognizant delivery leadership, and client engineering teams. The role blends hands-on delivery with consulting leadership, owning architectural outcomes and building cloud capabilities.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience with strong AWS focus.
- 5+ years focused on AWS architecture and delivery.
- Experience leading architecture reviews and client workshops.
- Strong know-how in IAM, VPC, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CDK.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with AWS Well-Architected principles.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including container-based and serverless patterns.
- Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
- Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities across pipelines and controls.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, leading discovery sessions and knowledge transfer.
