Job summary

PDMI is seeking an AWS DevOps Architect to design, build, automate, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure supporting AI, data engineering, and application workloads.

The role blends Terraform IaC, Kubernetes, Linux administration, and scripting to modernize CI/CD pipelines, with emphasis on security and compliance across multi-account AWS environments. Fully remote within approved US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of combined experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• 5+ years designing, provisioning, and supporting AWS infrastructure.
• 5+ years creating production IaC with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• 5+ years Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, and containerized environments experience.
• 5+ years scripting in Python, Bash, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IaC using Terraform and CloudFormation across multi-account AWS environments.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and automation for consistency across environments.
• Apply AWS architecture, networking, IAM, security, resilience, and provisioning best practices.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
• Shift security and compliance checks earlier in the delivery lifecycle.
• Automate infrastructure and operations with Terraform, Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
• Support deployments across Kubernetes clusters and data platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex pipelines spanning AWS, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.
