Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Engineer (AWS) to design and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS-native services. You will bridge raw data sources and analytical environments, ensuring secure, efficient data flows across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven expertise building data pipelines with AWS-native services like Glue and Kinesis.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing Redshift data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformation and automation.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and Python.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses on Amazon Redshift and data lakes on S3.
• Automate data workflows and provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement data models and partitioning to improve query performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through automated validation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
