Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data pipelines within the Microsoft data ecosystem. You will streamline data flow from sources to insights, emphasizing performance, scalability, and security.

Join a 100% remote, globally distributed team and work with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, and Power BI to deliver enterprise-grade data solutions and analytics. English proficiency required; 4+ years experience.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
Proficiency in building data pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
Python and SQL for data transformation and analytics within the Microsoft data ecosystem.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration for enterprise-grade data platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and optimize scalable data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
Write and refine complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and processing.
Orchestrate data workflows to ensure reliable delivery of analytics-ready datasets.
Implement best practices for data modeling and storage to support Power BI reporting.
Ensure the integrity and security of the data platform through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
