Job summary

VDart Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer for a remote C2C engagement.

You will design and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines on AWS, focusing on data quality, security, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has 14+ years IT experience and 7+ years in data engineering, with hands-on Snowflake, AWS services (S3, ECR, Fargate, Glue, Lambda, EC2, Athena), and strong SQL for large-scale processing and data warehousing.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of overall IT experience.
• 7+ years in data engineering, designing and optimizing cloud-native data pipelines.
• Experience in investment domain, specifically Private Credit, is required.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL with large-scale data processing, transformation, automation, and orchestration.
• Deep expertise in database design, data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture best practices.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake for building and optimizing cloud-based data warehousing and processing solutions.
• Hands-on experience setting up AWS infrastructure (S3, ECR, Fargate) and services like Glue, Lambda, EC2, Athena.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT data-loading patterns for data warehouses and data lakes.
• Solid experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bamboo).
