Job summary

AllCloud is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure cloud environments for clients. You will lead migrations, containerized deployments (EKS/ECS/Fargate), and IaC implementations, while enabling automation and robust monitoring.

This hands-on, customer-facing role emphasizes delivery of complex AWS projects, with opportunities to implement modern automation and security best practices across Linux and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering/infrastructure experience.
• Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch).
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS/Fargate).
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot complex container workloads.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, NodeJS, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging/tracing tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure.
• Lead or participate in cloud migrations and lift-and-shift projects.
• Build and maintain IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
• Develop serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Containerize apps and orchestrate with EKS/ECS/Fargate.
• Ensure robust monitoring, logging and alerting across environments.
• Apply security best practices (VPCs, encryption, IAM, WAF, GuardDuty).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with clients.
