Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to lead VMware-to-AWS migrations using Agentic AI-driven solutions. You will define the target landing zone, roadmaps, and governance while guiding architects, engineers, and stakeholders through the transformation.

The role requires 15+ years of cloud architecture and migration leadership, remote work, and no visa sponsorship. You will oversee IaC with Terraform, AI-enabled tooling, and modernize workloads to ECS/EKS with emphasis on security

Qualifications

• 15+ years of cloud architecture and migration leadership.
• Experience leading VMware-to-AWS migrations at scale.
• Proficient with AI-enabled migration tooling and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and assessment for AWS migration readiness.
• Define landing zones, roadmaps, and cost models for migrations.
• Drive AI-driven migration execution and validation activities.
• Oversee modernization to ECS/EKS and cloud security improvements.
