Job summary

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking a Junior Aviation Planner to support aviation planning and environmental projects with 2–7 years of experience. Preference given to candidates with 3+ years.

Open to remote candidates, preference will be given to candidates who can work a hybrid office schedule from one of ESA’s Florida offices. A writing sample may be requested during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation planning, aviation management, or related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in airport/aviation planning; 3+ years preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to prepare planning documents and reports.
• Willingness to travel as required and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Support aviation planning projects including master plans, layout plans, obstruction analyses, and environmental evaluations.
• Prepare graphics and analyses using AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
• Assist with updating documents and applying land use and environmental regulations.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings and contribute to project deliverables.
