Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aviation Data Analyst to join a leading aviation analytics firm. You will collect, clean, and analyze large aviation datasets, create dashboards, and deliver insights that guide strategic decisions.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and Excel, plus experience with Tableau/Power BI. This fully remote position supports flexible work locations and emphasizes data-driven forecasting and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Proven ability to manage tasks independently and work effectively in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with aviation data sources and industry terminology is a significant advantage.
• Must have reliable internet access and a suitable remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform large volumes of aviation-related data from various sources.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to flight performance, passenger behavior, and market dynamics.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Utilize programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all datasets.
• Stay current with advancements in data analytics techniques and aviation industry trends.
• Contribute to the development of predictive models and forecasting tools.
• Communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions proactively.
