Job summary
Woolpert seeks an experienced Project Surveyor to support nationwide survey and geospatial projects. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate field teams, and deliver accurate, design‑ready datasets via GNSS, lidar, imagery, and GIS workflows.
The role requires mentoring staff, supporting proposals, and ensuring QA/QC across multiple regions. Travel and client collaboration are expected as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Geography, GIS, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Extensive experience with Aviation surveys (18B) and strong Geodesy background preferred.
- Experience leading or coordinating survey work for infrastructure, transportation, aviation, utility, land development, construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead survey tasks and project phases from planning through final delivery.
- Review scopes, plans, and client requirements to establish survey approaches, staffing, schedules and budgets.
- Develop survey methodologies based on project requirements, site conditions, and accuracy standards.
