Job summary

Purdue University Global is seeking adjunct faculty for Aviation. This remote, part-time teaching role supports online Associates, bachelor’s and master’s programs with up to 3 courses per term.

The position requires a Master’s in aviation or related field, verified flight/aviation management experience, and online teaching ability. Courses are delivered synchronously or asynchronously, with fixed evening seminars and virtual office hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aviation from a regionally accredited institution or related field.
• Verified experience in professional flight and/or aviation management required.
• 1 year of online, higher education teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches synchronous or asynchronous seminars (10 week units) as assigned.
• Maintains virtual office hours per week for each class.
• Responds to student inquiries and coordinates with Academic Advisors.
• Delivers timely grades and reports per academic calendar.
• Adheres to university conduct policies and participates in governance as needed.
