Job summary

College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL seeks adjunct faculty to teach Aviation, with potential assignments on days, evenings and weekends and in online formats. This role supports student success by delivering coursework in multiple delivery modes and by evaluating learners in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver aviation courses in classroom, lab or online settings, manage assessments, and complete required instructional documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree AND two years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, have an associate degree AND six years professional aviation teaching experience; OR, hold a Flight Instructor’s Credential in the discipline area; OR, the equivalent is required.
• All degrees must be from an accredited institution.
• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to personal technology, a home computer with appropriate capability to teach online is required.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct Faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, and for courses that may be conducted in various delivery modes (face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats).
