Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto | Property Damage to analyze and process auto and liability claims. This role supports timely resolutions, negotiates settlements, and maintains client relations in a remote, national scope.

The position requires familiarity with personal and commercial lines, strong communication, and solid MS Office skills. Travel may be required as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; maintain required state adjusting licenses.
• Familiar with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review property damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentations.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong computer skills.
• Analytical and interpretive abilities.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented; able to meet service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Process auto and general liability property damage claims; assess damage and payments.
• Maintain action plans to meet state deadlines and achieve prompt resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker.
• Maintain professional client relations.
• Perform coverage, liability, and damage analyses on claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned; support quality programs.
• Travel as required.
