Job summary

FreedomCare is seeking a Manager of Authorizations to lead the Authorizations function within Finance. This remote role will oversee an eight-person team, drive process improvements, and partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to ensure timely, accurate authorizations.

The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of managerial experience, strong MS Excel and data analysis skills, and a track record of coaching teams toward high performance in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 3+ years of managerial experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership with coaching and accountability.
• Strong data analysis and ability to use reporting to drive decisions.
• Experience coordinating projects or process improvement initiatives.
• Comfort using reporting tools and automation to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Authorizations function.
• Leads and coaches the Authorizations Team Lead and 8 team members.
• Develops scalable workflows, tools, and documentation.
• Partners with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Tech to resolve barriers.
• Monitors performance metrics and usage of data to drive staffing decisions.
