LHH is partnering with a growing firm to hire an Audit Manager. This remote role requires up to 35% travel to client sites, with candidates located in the Greater Detroit or Grand Rapids areas. You will supervise audits and accounting functions and lead staff on audit programs.

Responsibilities include preparing financial documents, applying regulations, improving internal controls, and delivering audit reports within timing guidelines. CPA and 3+ years of audit experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably in financial statement audits.
• Financial institution client industry experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review financial documents, workpapers and audit programs.
• Apply relevant regulations.
• Analyze and improve client internal controls.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Develop risk assessments and recommendations.
• Conduct and direct staff in various audit programs and services by following the prescribed procedures.
• Draft and review audit reports.
• Complete audits within firm timing guidelines.
• Provide leadership and assistance to Audit Associates.
