Job summary

Mercor is hiring experienced music producers and audio engineers to evaluate generative music AI models, in partnership with a leading AI lab.

You will assess AI-generated music across a wide range of genres and rate it against detailed quality standards, working in Vietnamese and English.

Start date: immediate; Duration: up to 6 months; Commitment: around 20 hours per week; Compensation: paid hourly, with potential move to per-task while keeping the same effective hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese and ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
• 2+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality.
• Label songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other musical characteristics.
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy.
