Sedgwick is seeking an Attorney Auditor to review legal and non-legal invoices in accordance with client billing guidelines, GAPS, and internal audit standards. The role supports timely processing and accurate audit outcomes using Sedgwick’s spend management platforms.

The position requires a Juris Doctor degree with preference for active licensure and at least five years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with travel as required.

Formación

• J.D. degree preferred; law license preferred but not required.
• At least 5 years of insurance defense or civil litigation experience required.
• Civil litigation process knowledge and audit expertise are essential.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork abilities are required.

Responsabilidades

• Review invoices per client guidelines, GAPS, and audit standards.
• Communicate audit findings and respond to billing inquiries from law firms.
• Process invoices in line with workflows, SLAs, and quality standards.
• Perform reasonableness reviews and document adjustments with rationale.
• Use Sedgwick’s Legal Spend Management platforms to review invoices and route items.
• Collaborate with managers and peers to ensure consistent application of guidelines.
• Identify recurring issues and provide feedback for guideline improvements.
• Escalate high-risk issues to senior staff for resolution.
