Job summary

Centessa Pharmaceuticals, a fast-growing biopharma company, is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support early-to-late-stage programs. This fully remote role focuses on maintaining accurate timelines and budgets within the PPM system and providing PM support to the portfolio.

You will work with senior PMs, monitor Smartsheet timelines, prepare meeting materials, and help generate status reports and RAID logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, business, or healthcare discipline.
• 1–3 years of project management support within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven expertise in Smartsheet and hands-on experience with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system such as Planisware.
• CAPM certification strongly preferred.
• Basic understanding of the end-to-end drug development lifecycle (Preclinical through Phase 3 and NDA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update complex drug development timelines and budgets in a corporate-wide PPM system.
• Monitor Smartsheet timelines to ensure consistency and accurate portfolio reporting.
• Assist senior project managers with meeting logistics, agenda prep, minutes, and other PM-related activities.
• Monitor action items and follow up with owners to keep deliverables on schedule.
• Generate project status reports, dashboards, and RAID logs for program teams and leadership.
