Ladders is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Legal (US) to serve as a key legal partner to senior leadership in a global life sciences business. The role focuses on clinical research contracting, enterprise risk, and cross‑functional guidance that balances legal risk with operational needs in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only. Compensation: $200,500 – $398,500 annually.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Experience in a CRO/pharma or highly regulated life sciences setting.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on complex legal and regulatory risk matters.
• Lead strategic legal areas and provide guidance aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee drafting and negotiation of clinical research agreements.
• Collaborate with compliance and business teams to streamline contracting processes.
• Support enterprise risk management and governance programs.
• Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance.
