Job summary

Root Financial is seeking a full-time Associate Financial Advisor in a fully remote role. After completing our onboarding and training program, you will work with a Lead Advisor to learn planning processes and observe client meetings.

You will open accounts, request documents, and provide 401k recommendations while developing expertise in Right Capital, Holistiplan, and our CRM. You will deliver exceptional service to clients and the team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• 2-5 years of experience in the financial planning industry.
• Experience with Dimensional Funds is a plus.
• Experience with Right Capital and Holistiplan is a plus.
• CFP exam passed preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for client meetings alongside your Lead Advisor.
• Determine which types of accounts to open for clients.
• Actively communicate with clients to request documentation, answer questions, follow up after meetings, etc.
• Provide 401k recommendations for clients.
• Become an expert in Right Capital, Holistiplan, our CRM and other softwares.
• Provide unparalleled service to clients and Root team members.
