Job summary

McKesson is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Strategy & Solutions to translate Texas Oncology priorities into an integrated portfolio of digital capabilities. You will own strategy, governance, and roadmaps while partnering with Finance, Legal, and enterprise teams to advance scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.

The role may begin as an individual contributor and evolve into people leadership as the portfolio scales, requiring strong executive communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in digital strategy, healthcare technology, enterprise solutions, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and advance decisions without relying solely on direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Digital Strategy & Solutions portfolio and roadmap in alignment with Texas Oncology priorities.
• Translate clinical, operational, and enterprise priorities into sequenced digital capabilities and investment opportunities.
• Develop executive-ready recommendations and portfolio updates for governance forums.
• Lead structured problem definition and assessment of proposed digital solutions and emerging technologies.
• Establish governance models, stage gates, and decision rights for the solution lifecycle.
• Coach partners and teams in structured problem solving, governance, and value-focused delivery.
