Job summary

Jade Biosciences is seeking an Associate Director of Development Outsourcing to lead outsourcing strategies for Phase I–IV programs, partnering with study teams and external vendors to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

This fully remote role requires occasional travel and offers a salary range of $175,000–$190,000, with emphasis on vendor selection, contract negotiations, governance, and risk management across multiple studies.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in biotechnology/pharma/CRO/related field with outsourcing experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical development and outsourced service delivery (Phases I–IV).
• Experience leading vendor sourcing, RFPs, bid defenses, and oversight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Development Outsourcing lead for assigned studies and programs with external vendors.
• Develop outsourcing strategies and manage day-to-day vendor activities; ensure timelines and decisions support study objectives.
• Lead vendor selection, contract strategy, negotiations, and execution of vendor agreements (MSAs, SOWs, COs, etc.).
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and study teams to drive contract execution and issue resolution.
• Escalate risks and ensure governance, performance metrics, and issue resolution across programs.
