Job summary

Jade Biosciences is seeking an Associate Director of Development Outsourcing to lead external vendor management for multiple programs from Phase I through IV. This fully remote position will partner with Development Operations, study teams, and legal/finance to drive outsourcing strategy, governance, and execution.

The role requires 8-12 years in biotech/pharma outsourcing, strong vendor leadership, and contract negotiation skills.

Qualifications

8-12 years in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or related outsourcing roles.
Experience leading vendor sourcing initiatives, RFPs, bid defenses, contract negotiations, and vendor oversight.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Development Outsourcing lead for assigned studies and programs, partnering with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure outsourcing success.
Lead vendor sourcing activities, including RFI/RFP material prep, proposal reviews, bid defenses, and comparative analyses.
Negotiate and execute vendor agreements (MSAs, SOWs,Change Orders, LOIs) and manage contract evolution.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and study teams to drive contract execution and resolve operational issues affecting startup or execution.
Monitor vendor performance, governance, and implement corrective actions when needed.
Provide outsourcing expertise and recommendations on vendor selection, strategy, and issue resolution.
