Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a remote Assessment Coordinator to assist in the process of responding to referrals and other requests for services. Responsibilities include documenting inquiry calls, assessing patients, and ensuring proper intake procedures. Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse license or a Master's degree in a related field, and have at least two years of experience in a psychiatric setting. Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of experience in Intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as a mental health professional.

Responsibilities

• Document inquiry calls in accordance with intake policies.
• Assess and stabilize patients prior to leaving hospital.
• Notify on-call doctor and assist with patient interview.
• Administer admission paperwork according to hospital policy.
• Complete intake log with all necessary information.
