Job summary

Hill Crest Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking an Assessment Coordinator- Intake (RN or MA/MSW) to perform suicide risk assessments and manage intake, including insurance authorization and admission processing. The role supports inpatient psychiatric care at the Birmingham, AL facility and collaborates with the Business Office on financial matters.

• Three (3) years experience in Intake, psychiatric setting (outpatient or inpatient) and crisis intervention, preferred.
• The ability to establish rapport quickly via telephone or in person.

• Conduct suicide risk screenings and assessments and receive helpline referral calls.

Responsibilities

Assessment Coordinator- Intake (RN or MA/MSW in Behavioral/Social Sciences Required)
