Job summary

AlphaGov, a Casa Moon LLC company, is seeking an experienced airport fire-rescue leader or consultant to lead organizational assessments and staffing analyses of ARFF at FAA Part 139 airports. You will bring hands-on ARFF operations, staffing, and regulatory knowledge to proposals and, when awarded, to study delivery.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in airport ARFF or municipal fire service, including leadership at officer level.
• Direct working knowledge of FAA Part 139 ARFF requirements (14 CFR 139.315–139.319).
• Experience with fire department staffing, deployment, or organizational analysis.
• Ability to conduct structured interviews and write clear findings for executives.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 / project-based consultant with on-site travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess ARFF structure, chain of command, shift schedules, and staffing against FAA Part 139 and NFPA 403/1710.
• Interview firefighters, officers, and the fire chief; review training and response-time records.
• Build peer-airport benchmarks and staffing scenarios.
• Advise on apparatus replacement, station planning, and capital needs at planning level.
• Draft findings and recommendations and present them to airport leadership.
• Contribute ARFF qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permitted.
