Job summary

Syngenta Group in Texas is seeking an Area Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performance sales team, driving sales and profitability for the vegetable seeds portfolio within the assigned territory.

You will develop and execute go-to-market strategies, nurture key industry relationships, and provide expert product knowledge to customers while coordinating campaigns with product development and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Marketing, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in horticulture, vegetable seeds, agribusiness, or agricultural sales with a track record of driving results.
• Proven leadership experience with coaching and leading high-performing sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive go-to-market strategies for the Texas area in alignment with the Commercial Unit.
• Develop Vegetable Seeds offer and sales execution in the area.
• Nurture contacts in the vegetable industry and build relationships with key influencers.
• Monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Provide high technical and product expertise to customers.
• Coordinate demo and demand generation with cross-functional teams.
