Heritage Landscape Supply - Houston is seeking an Area Credit Manager to safeguard and expedite recovery of the company’s accounts receivable portfolio. You will manage collection calls, review customer accounts, and guide internal teams on credit status, while maintaining diligent notes in the company system.

The role offers growth toward a Regional Credit Manager and involves collaboration with sales and credit teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit Management.
• Experience with accounts receivable portfolios and collections.
• Strong communication and negotiation with stakeholders.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
• Knowledge of notices, mechanics liens and bond claims.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage accounts receivable portfolio under Regional Credit Manager oversight.
• Make collection calls on due/overdue accounts and document interactions.
• Review and release orders from ticket holds after evaluation.
• Process and approve credit applications and extend/maintain credit lines.
• Oversee lien and bond rights and related processes for collections.
• Communicate with internal/external clients about account statuses and credit policy.
• Conduct customer account reviews and provide recommendations on handling.
• Track and reconcile deductions and enforce credit policy.
