Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in risk management and quality improvement beneficial.
• Proficiency in an IRMS claim database required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology essential.
• Strong analytical and communication skills at all levels.

For our client, we are seeking a (REMOTE) Area Claims Manager to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space.

This role will oversee the strategy and execution of complex liability claim management across a multi-site healthcare environment. The position will focus on investigating claims, evaluating exposure, negotiating resolutions, and partnering closely with risk management and loss control leaders to reduce organizational risk.

The Area Claims Manager will also help ensure accurate reserves, reporting compliance, and effective representation in case evaluations, mediations, and trials.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,000 – $177,000 annually

• Strategize and implement cost-effective management of Hospital Professional Liability, General Liability, and Employment Practices Liability claims
• Direct the claim investigation process, including evaluation of liability, causation, and damages
• Establish and review indemnity and expense reserves in a timely manner
