Job summary

Dept is looking for an experienced Architect Software Engineer to join their forward-deployed architecture squad in North America. This role focuses on optimizing data pipelines and ensuring high-accuracy profile matching for automated campaigns.

The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience, especially in data architecture and marketing automation, with a deep command of Adobe platforms including AEP and RTCDP. The position offers a competitive salary range of $138,000 to $183,000 USD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or systems architecture experience focusing on data pipeline engineering, customer database modeling, or marketing automation.
• Expert, hands‑on configuration authority across Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time Customer Data Platform, and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
• Ability to collaborate closely with analytics engineers to validate campaign‑link attribution and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Auditing and optimizing identity namespace configurations.
• Optimizing multi‑system data schemas and refining bulk file‑ingestion flows.
• Architecting zero‑copy/federated query strategies.
• Re‑building and stabilizing broken multi‑channel automated campaigns.
• Building robust audience suppression rules and frequency capping mechanisms.
• Building out destination syncs across ad‑networks, SMS gateways, and push notification nodes.
