Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Remote Accounts Receivable Specialist I to join our team. The role supports billing, denial resolution, and revenue cycle activities in a remote capacity across the U.S. healthcare payer ecosystem.

Ideal candidates have AR experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills to manage high-volume accounts and adhere to SOPs while ensuring data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable or related field with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs, protect patient and financial data, and meet productivity targets.
• Collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams to resolve denials.

Responsibilities

• Research payer resources to obtain billing, claim, and payment information
• Resolve denied, underpaid, or rejected claims
• Manage assigned accounts receivable inventory and follow-up activities
• Analyze denial trends and identify process improvement opportunities
• Work aged accounts receivable per SOPs
• Collaborate with leadership, payers, and partner teams to resolve denials
• Document account activity and follow-up actions
• Meet established productivity and quality metrics
• Escalate complex reimbursement or denial issues as needed
• Protect confidential patient and financial information
• Adapt to changing business needs and priorities
