Responsibilities

• Analyze unapplied cash, misapplied payments, payment variances, and other AR exceptions by researching transactional data across multiple systems.
• Investigate complex payment discrepancies using data from billing, banking, cash application, and AR platforms to determine root causes and resolution.
• Analyze exception reports and account activity to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve cash application accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a functional resource for NetSuite, Sage, Versapay, banking platforms, and related AR systems by researching system-generated exceptions and automated matching outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, funding teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve payment inquiries, reconcile discrepancies, and facilitate issue resolution.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to payment activity, exception management, cash application results, and AR performance.
• Document findings and provide recommendations to improve processes, system utilization, automated matching rules, and data quality.
• Support system implementations, enhancements, testing activities, and process improvement initiatives related to billing, cash application, and AR operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the nature and level of work.
