Job summary

1close is seeking an entry‑level developer to accelerate the build with our lead developer on the 1Close product: the workspace shell, deal surfaces, integrations, and marketing pages. You do not need years of experience; you must already build with AI daily and be eager to improve fast on a real codebase.

This apprentice role pairs you with the lead, allowing you to own small features end to end, ship quickly, and level up rapidly while contributing to a real codebase in a fully remote team.

Qualifications

• You already build with an AI IDE like Cursor and use AI in your workflow every day.
• Some coding ability in TypeScript and React from side projects, a bootcamp, or self teaching.
• Hungry to learn and get good fast; you ship, take feedback, and come back better.
• Comfortable reading existing code and matching conventions before inventing your own.
• Clear written communication in a fully remote team.
• Right to work in the UK, EU, or US with timezone overlap for pairing.

Responsibilities

• Take small, well scoped features and ship them with guidance from the lead developer.
• Build and refine React and Next.js UI in the workspace and marketing site.
• Work with Supabase via our typed data layer. No raw SQL in app code.
• Fix bugs, tidy code, and keep the design system consistent.
• Learn our patterns fast and use AI to move quicker each week.
