Job summary

Alignerr seeks an Applied Physics Specialist (AI Training) to design rigorous physics problems and validate AI reasoning. This fully remote hourly contract invites PhD-level researchers to craft multi-step quantum, EM, thermodynamics problems and provide airtight golden solutions.

You'll audit model outputs, refine behavior under conservation laws, and document failure modes for physics benchmarks. 10–40 hours/week, flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• PhD completed (or near completion) in Applied Physics or a closely related field.
• Deep mastery of Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics.
• Ability to explain complex physics with precise mathematical derivations.

Responsibilities

• Design PhD-level physics problems spanning QM, EM, thermodynamics, and classical mechanics.
• Author ground-truth step-by-step solutions with precise constants and conversions.
• Audit AI reasoning for physical consistency and first-principles compliance.
