Job summary

IGaminghunt is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to embed security across fintech and iGaming software development. You will secure architectures, design with security in mind, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into CI/CD lifecycles.

The role emphasizes hands-on security for JS/TS apps, IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, with a fully remote setup and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience integrating security tooling into modern CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on security for applications and microservices built with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of IaC tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation).
• Scripting/automation experience (Python or Shell).
• Knowledge of software supply chain security, build pipelines, release security.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security initiatives across applications, cloud infrastructure, and internal platforms.
• Design and improve secure architectures following secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, DevOps to embed security in workflows and lifecycles.
• Assess security control implementations across cloud, apps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, maintain, and promote security standards and controls.
• Enhance automated threat modelling capabilities for secure software development.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and security guidance throughout SDLC.
• Support cloud transformation with secure migration of apps/infrastructure.
• Act as a trusted security partner to engineering teams and mitigate risks.
