POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for providing primary support and contact for each application. Coordinates all issues that arise during the project for assigned application areas and provides subject matter expertise and comprehensive knowledge in Trinity Health's policies, procedures, and business operations. Works directly with the customer and develops best practice workflows based on decisions from different system decision-making groups and translates the information into the application build. Collaborates with other Epic Application Coordinators, Project Managers, Trainers, and Application Managers.

Essential Functions
  • Demonstrates Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behavior, practices, and decisions.
  • Establishes priorities aligned with organizational initiatives and manages multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Consults with providers, clinicians, executives, and management to support decisions, workflows, and new initiatives.
  • Provides data analysis to support programs and projects, communicating findings effectively.
  • Offers guidance on integration, architecture, system selection, and clinical system implementations.
  • Researches and recommends timing for new functionalities and supports upgrade processes.
  • Recommends innovative solutions to workflow, safety, productivity, and financial issues.
  • Leads application integration decisions impacting multiple units and assists in documentation development.
  • Analyzes and reengineers business processes to meet clinical and business needs.
  • Prepares project plans and status reports.
  • Collaborates on best practice workflows, order sets, forms, and decision support tools.
  • Uses performance improvement methodologies and change management strategies.
  • Participates in interdisciplinary groups for design, implementation, and outcomes reporting.
  • Models teamwork and operates in a collaborative environment.
  • Manages multiple projects and adapts to changing priorities.
  • Pursues professional growth and adopts new tools for project management.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in Pharmacy or advanced degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Michigan or states served by Trinity Health.
  • 2+ years in health system pharmacy practice or supporting clinical information systems.
  • 3-5 years supporting healthcare clinical software applications or leading process improvements.
  • Ability to learn Epic software; Epic Certification required post-training.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Ability to interface with technical and business teams.
  • Experience with clinical workflows, data analysis, and system configuration.
Physical and Mental Requirements

Typical office environment, requiring communication, manual dexterity, concentration, and adaptability. Travel may be required. Work hours may include afterhours and weekends.

Compensation

Hourly pay ranges: $49.80 - $82.17
