Job summary

STS Worldwide Inc. is hiring an Appian Developer for a fully remote, full-time role in the United States. You will design and build Appian applications using SAIL interfaces, process models, and records, while configuring workflows, rules, and approvals.

The job requires strong SQL skills and experience with Appian integrations and external systems. You will collaborate with business analysts, perform testing, support deployments, and ensure secure, scalable solutions in a DevOps/Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience developing Appian applications.
• Strong knowledge of Appian SAIL, process modeling, records, and expression rules.
• Experience with Appian integrations and relational databases.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling understanding.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, testing and deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Appian certification (Associate/Senior/Lead) preferred.
• Experience with Appian records, data synchronization, and automation.
• Knowledge of Java/JavaScript or other languages.
• Experience supporting enterprise apps and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Appian applications using SAIL interfaces and components.
• Configure workflows, rules, task assignments, notifications, and approvals.
• Integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP and APIs.
• Develop SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Perform unit testing, debug defects, and resolve issues.
• Support deployments across dev, test, and prod environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure governance standards.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and production support.
