Job summary

NinjaOne, LLC is seeking an Application Security Architect to drive security across our software lifecycle and cloud systems. You will collaborate with engineering, platform, and product teams to embed secure design from inception through deployment.

The role emphasizes hands-on security, architecture, and mentorship, with opportunities to advance security maturity across a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software security with hands-on security architecture experience.
• Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or C++ and secure design principles.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC and cloud security in AWS.
• Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, BSIMM, STRIDE, DREAD frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering to review designs and code for security risks.
• Lead threat modeling, design reviews, and architecture sessions.
• Drive AI-assisted security workflows and secure by design.
• Develop security reports for technical and executive audiences.
• Document security architectures, policies, and best practices.
• Mentor security teams and promote Security Champions program.
