Job summary

ElevenLabs is seeking a Security Detection & Response Engineer to join our remote-first team. You will drive incident response, fine-tune detections, and automate security tasks, leveraging AI to scale operations. The role demands ownership, strong analytical skills, and experience across Google Chronicle, GCP, and SaaS security.

This position is remote anywhere in APAC with GMT+10 availability, offering impact across a globally distributed company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in incident response and security operations, including triaging alerts and leading response.
• Strong background in detection engineering: developing and tuning rules and alerts.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM infrastructure, especially Google Chronicle.
• Proficiency in security monitoring across platforms (macOS, SaaS apps, Google Workspace).
• Scripting skills for automating detection and response tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be on the front lines of security operations, building and maintaining detection and incident response capabilities.
• Scale security efforts with an automation mindset and frontier AI models.
• Develop and improve security practices as the company grows, owning key initiatives.
