Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Anthropology or related field.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• 3+ years in anthropology research or related workflows.
• Understanding of theory, methods, ethics, and representation.
• Experience leading or supporting remote research teams.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: spot-check items, identify issues, provide feedback.
• Anthropology review of AI explanations, summaries, and context.
• Communicate guidelines and updates to trainers and QAs.
• Respond clearly to questions around cultural context and methods.
• Activate inactive contributors and track follow-ups as needed.
• Create and maintain project documentation and onboarding materials.
• Schedule onboarding calls and ensure rubrics are understood.
• Ensure consistency with anthropology review guidelines as projects evolve.
• Flag ethnocentric or ethically problematic content.
• Identify recurring gaps and help build scalable QA processes.
