Job summary

Shriners Children's Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Auditor to systematically review anesthesia records for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. You will verify provider signatures, validate charges and ensure documentation aligns with CMS, Joint Commission, and HIPAA standards.

With a minimum of 5 years in medical chart review or auditing, you will collaborate with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to close gaps and educate staff through targeted trainings and webinars.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical chart review, medical auditing, or clinical documentation.
• Familiarity with DRG and CPT coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive review of anesthesia records for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify provider signatures on documentation (anesthesiologist, CRNA, supervising physician).
• Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; maintain adherence to CMS and Joint Commission standards.
• Collaborate with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to address documentation and regulatory needs.
• Conduct audits across Hospital, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Outpatient Clinic settings.
