Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience with production apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Chess.com's flagship Android application for a global audience.
• Design shared codebase architecture to maximize efficiency and reusability.
• Collaborate with design, product, data analytics, and coaching teams to translate requirements.
• Optimize performance and implement Android best practices across the mobile stack.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions for scalability and maintainability.
• Maintain development workflows in a fully distributed team environment.
