Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a Remote Android Engineer to work on evaluating and producing AI training content. In this role, you will assess AI-generated Android code and produce reference implementations while ensuring model integrity and performance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 4 years of experience in Android development and expertise in Kotlin. This role provides access to future projects through our expert network.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience building production Android apps, including work in Kotlin and (ideally) Java codebases.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
• Previous experience with AI data training or evaluating AI-generated content is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and reference answers to guide AI learning.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for correctness, security, and performance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies and validate reliability.

Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin

Strong Android fundamentals

Modern UI experience with Jetpack Compose and Views

Concurrency expertise
