Speechify is hiring a Team Lead for our Android platform in a fully remote US-based team. You will own features end-to-end, write and review code, and guide others while delivering reliable nightly builds. The role emphasizes strong technical leadership and deep hands-on implementation.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape architecture, and push Android UI/UX beyond the spec, collaborating across Product, Design, and Engineering with a focus on fast delivery and clear communication.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including time leading a team or owning a major surface while staying hands-on.
• Experience shipping and maintaining background audio or other long-running background work.
• Strong emphasis on tests and test strategy.

Responsabilidades

• Own major features end to end, from design through release.
• Review PRs with constructive feedback and ensure quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow the team’s capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to align on goals.
• Improve reliability metrics and automate verification where possible.
