Job summary

Autodesk seeks an Analytics Engineer on the Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence team to turn sales, subscription and hierarchy data into tested, documented models that analysts and sales leaders can trust. You will work in SQL and dbt on Snowflake and own what you ship.

This hands-on role sits on a new team and requires collaboration with stakeholders across sales and finance to ensure data accuracy and relevance for weekly forecasts and leadership dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical or quantitative field.
• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering or BI development with reliable models.
• dbt in production with tests and documentation.
• Strong SQL with window functions and incremental models in Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data model: accounts, opportunities, line items, ownership.
• Ability to explain data issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake with Salesforce, subscription, billing, and hierarchy data.
• Model data with clear grain, stable keys, and definitions aligned to the metric dictionary.
• Keep history so published numbers reproduce the state on release date.
• Maintain account/territory/seller mappings and sales hierarchy as org changes.
• Reconcile data to Salesforce and Finance and diagnose discrepancies.
• Create datasets for weekly forecast packs, reviews and dashboards.
• Add tests and monitoring for freshness, completeness and accuracy.
• Explain data issues and trade-offs to sales and finance partners.
• Work in version control with code review and CI.
