Job summary

Abre is hiring an Analytics Engineer to build and scale data models and semantic reporting across the Abre Platform. You will collaborate with Product, Software, and Data teams to deliver standardized analytics and AI-driven reporting tools.

You will design dbt models, implement automated testing, and contribute to dashboards and data governance efforts, with a focus on data quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Engineering.
• Expertise in advanced SQL and data modeling (dimensional, Kimball).
• Experience with modern data transformation tools (dbt) and orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow).
• Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business logic into scalable, well-documented data models with Product, Software, and Data teams.
• Build and maintain dbt models and semantic layers to standardize metrics across Abre Platform.
• Develop client dashboards and support AI reporting tools.
• Implement automated data validation, testing, and monitoring (dbt tests) for end-to-end data integrity.
• Maintain documentation for data models, definitions, and lineage.
• Collaborate on data warehouse architecture for performance, security, and scalability.
• Guide SQL performance tuning and data modeling patterns.
