Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise data solutions using SQL, Python/Scala, ETL/ELT, data modeling, Spark, orchestration, and cloud data platforms.

The role requires 4+ years of experience and strong collaboration with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams in a remote, full-time setting. You will translate requirements into robust data pipelines, participate in code reviews, and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a related professional role.
• Experience with SQL, Python/Scala, ETL/ELT, data modeling, Spark or equivalent processing, orchestration, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience building or supporting production software using core technologies.
• Strong fundamentals in software design, data structures, and maintainable code.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and testing practices.
• Working knowledge of Git and structured development workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects and communicate technical findings.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using the approved technology stack.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.
• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems using appropriate standards.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance improvement.
