Qualifications

• 1-year minimum experience in financial services financial crime compliance.
• Knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC and SAR requirements.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills; able to multitask.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and online research tools.
• Knowledge of client and transactional monitoring processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and with teams in different locations.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and investigating alerts, performing investigations, or enhanced due diligence reviews for potentially suspicious activity, making risk-based SAR recommendations and preparing SARs.
• Conducting periodic holistic reviews of higher risk individuals or entities.
• Reviewing and investigating potential matches with sanctions lists.
• Maintaining knowledge of applicable rules and regulations (BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC).
• Assist in delivering financial crime consulting services to financial institutions and FinTechs.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
